Vincent (Vince) Lombardi (June 11, 1913 – September 3, 1970) was an American football coach, best known as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers during the 1960s. He is considered by many to be the greatest coach in football history, and he is recognized as one of the greatest coaches and leaders in the history of all American sports. His motivational speeches are legendary, as are his quotes… just the sort of quotes one wants to hear in the middle of tough summer training.
