My wiki page says this about Mr. Charles Steinmetz:

“Charles Proteus Steinmetz (April 9, 1865 – October 26, 1923) was a German-American mathematician and electrical engineer. He proposed the development of alternating current that made possible the expansion of the electric power industry in the United States, formulating mathematical theories for engineers.

However to me, Mr. Steinmetz will always been the man I credit with the quote “there are no foolish questions”.  I’ve loved the quote so much that I’ve stolen and co-opted it for blog purposes, with my often used “there is no such thing as a stupid question… probably”.  Imitation is a form of flattery, as is plagiarism, and I’m sure I’ve engaged in more than my fair share of both… although I’m trying to be a better man!

Which brings us to the tangential TAKE HOME MESSAGE!

From one of the gentlemen that brought Freakonomics, we have a podcast called “No Stupid Questions“.  On a weekly basis, the very eloquent hosts take us through, well, stupid questions and in their examination are able to provoke some very insightful thoughts and ideas.  “Is laziness real”, “Do good deeds invite more bad ones”… the list goes on.  All that I can guarantee is that it offers some great, “bite sized” and thought provoking discussions, many of which have athletic parallels, and many of which are just satisfying and enjoyable.   Give an episode a listen and let me know how it goes for you!
